All church organizations must accept the following contest rules. We strongly suggest you read them carefully before you enter. By submitting a nomination and paying the entry fee, you are stating that you have read and accepted these rules and conditions. Entry fees are nonrefundable.
The competition is open to all church denominations and ministries that have outstanding websites.
Church Sites will be competing against other church website and ministry sites with around the same number of church members. For example, small churches (with memberships of less than 1,000 members) will be competing with other small churches that have entered the competition.
NEW for 2011, nominations will be evaluated in four different categories:
content, design, church ministry, and overall website of the year.
Sites containing unwholesome content (such as pornography or hate-speech) are not eligible for the competition.
If your site promotes any of the following content it will be disqualified:
racism, forms of hatred, pornography, profanity, degradation or humiliation of adults, children or animals
products or services that are illegal to use, sell and/or possess in the United States.
By submitting your entry or entries, you are attesting that you have the necessary authorization to use the images, audio, text and other content contained in your website.
The same church site can win multiple awards. For example, a church can win the “Top Ten National Finalist for Best Website in Content” and also win “Best Website of the Year in Design”.
In order to cover our operating and marketing expenses and discourage frivolous entries, there is a required entry fee of $100.00.
10% of your entry fee will be donated to missions.
Payment by Credit Card: We accept major credit cards via our secure online entry form.
A nomination is considered entered once your completed the entry form and payment are received by us. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once we receive your entry. We use paypal for all transactions to better protect your information.
